The Loaner

Along time ago, in a cottage far, far away there lived a lazy little wizard. He was right in the middle of setting fire to bugs, "harnessing the power” or whatever wizards do when he remembered that spellbook he’s been meaning to get into. And so, for the first time in the seven decades since he borrowed it from the library he finally opened it. He almost managed to read a whole sentence before he was struck by a sudden, terrible realization: the book is due tonight!
